I'm Roman Catholic, from a land of Wesleyans!

My family is Italian, but we have lived here for a few generations. We are spread out across the world like the legionnaires from Rome! We originated in Tuscany, and our family spread afar in Europe and the world, and our assurances travel with us.

Interesting! I had to look up Wesleyan, and I enjoy learning new things. My family is originally from the UK, with small dollops of Belgian, German, Dutch, Norwegian, and so on. My father's family immigrated to the USA in the late 1800's, and they were Church of England. They became Roman Catholic, (against my great-grandfather's wishes), because there was no other nearby Church that his wife and 12 children could attend. I heard that he refused to sit down, and always stood at the back of the church, but allowed his wife and children to sit and participate.
