Not to be rude but I'm a bit confused by something. The bible says don't eat bacon, don't cut your hair, and don't mutilate the body (ear piercings, tattoos, cosmetic surgeries, etc.), don't wear clothes made of two kinds of materials, everything to do with menstruation, supports slavery, says if a man commits bestiality the animal has to die too, there's a lot of insane stuff in there. What do you make of it? And please don't say "Well that's the OLD testament", as I've had that response many times.

@wonkavite04: Im glad you study Scripture and seek to understand Gods word. If you have a problem with God being a sovereign and holy God, then I cannot help you, you need to adress that directly to God.

I heard something this morning that really resonated with me. It was..
"As I begin my day, I must whisper to God before I can shout to the world"
It always makes for a better day when I spend some time in the word.

Thank you! So true. And time spend in the word is time spend with God Himself.

True. The bible can answer questions no man has an answer, at times.

Yes indeed.
