Unfortunately for some, they think burden and fear is the answer because they don't understand conflictions and mercy from God.

They rather follow from their own experience, yet God is patient and merciful.

A very beautiful post about our Redeemer. Jesus Christ became the ultimate Sacrifice and he carried the sin of the world on his shoulders.

Burden of sin was so heavy that Jesus prayed to his Father, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will"

Matthew 26:39

The Gospel surely is The Good News, infact the best news we can adhere to, daily, even more so in the times of trials and sufferings.

Good Morning
And Thank you for this beautiful post

Yes... but a lot of people twist that around to say that Jesus was forced by His Father to go to the cross, and nothing could be further from the truth. His Father did not force him to go to the cross. He volunteered. He said "nonetheless Father, not my will but yours be done, just like you said in your reply. Thank you for bringing that out. Jesus could have called 10,000 angels but He didn't. His mind was purely on saving all of our souls, and for that I'm forever grateful. I will never leave Him.

God didn't make Hell for me, I made Hell for myself!

🫂 Dear heart, don't we all? And that's why the good news is that Jesus can save us from that and turn our lives completely around, but yeah that's what we do to ourselves. We make bad choices and then our lives feel like that, certainly. I hear your pain. But at the end of that pain is where hope starts, and a brand new life in Christ, if we should so choose. No one is so bad or so far gone that Jesus cannot save them. The devil would have us believe differently, but he's a liar. The Bible says Satan is the "father of all lies", so we can't depend on him. Christ was my only hope, when I felt all was lost, like you, and that I could never be forgiven, but I found out real quick I was dead wrong, and I'll never be sorry in my whole life, that I'm still following Jesus, for 53 years now. Much love.
