Anybody love God but not attendting church at moment?

I been listing to a local church service, though.
And am thinking about attending
I messaged the pastor and may arrange a phone call, he suggest that in email.
I liked what I heard.
I stopped attending one because, I'm not one who likes politics preached from the pulpit.
I don't mean relevant to scripture, but pure endorsement.
Maybe, I am a dinosaur and that scruple doesn't exist anymore?
I go to church to worship God not man.

Politics should never be preached from the pulpit. Politics are dividing, but Jesus is uniting.
Find a church that teaches truth (from the bible), not human opinions or politics; and not a "feel good" church (ones that tell people what they want to hear).

Because my mom is in her last days, I currently attend "family church". Members of our family come together and hold services (singing, communion, preaching) each Sunday so mom can attend. Once she passes, I will return to attending "regular" church.

@shuhak I talked to that pastor again today I'm going to try going to the church he says they don't preach politics from the pulpit ,but stick to the Bible.
It's also a smallish Church, which wasn't a major issue, but is a little bit more comfortable due to my shyness.
I hope going back to your church will give you comfort and I'm sorry about your mom.

@Justmeraeagain That's good.
I fully understand how smaller is better. Too many people are draining (be it at church, in a restaurant, or the grocery store). It takes me nearly 6 hours to "recharge" just from going to the grocery store.
