@SomeMichGuy What is a Docetist?

@seotelkniwt Docetists deny that Jesus could actually suffer, due to His divine nature (and esp. that He couldn't have suffered and died on the Cross).
This verse emphasizes His humanity, His alike-ness to us; it could be taken to support a "low" Christology.

@SomeMichGuy Jesus did suffer excruciating physical pain when he was nailed to a torture stake. He, Jesus was a perfect human and he had perfect nerve endings which caused him to feel that torturous pain even more. (John 19:34, John 19:23, John 19:18, Luke 24:20).
