What is unique about the Bible?

It was written by many men over many centuries. The earliest book we have is Job which was possibly written before Noah's flood. The various authors throughout the writing of the Bible all shared similar experiences. Moses redacted the Genesis accounts and added some of his own insights. The major and minor prophets all contributed to the corpus of the Bible but each wrote uniquely yet all shared similar experiences. We honestly don't know how many people contributed as we are not sure of the names of the authors of all the Psalms and proverbs and even in the New Testament we are not sure of the names of all the authors such as the author of Hebrews. Yet for all the over 2000 years of the writing of the Bible the message is basically the same. It points to a perfect God creating a perfect world who allowed a sinful creation such is satan to tempt the ones made in God's own image. Those made in God's image fell and passed on their sin nature to their offspring. Yet throughout this entire time God's own promises held. He would redeem His fallen creation and grant eternal life to those who trust in Him and His atonement. Finally after thousands of years the Redeemer came, He was Fully God yet submitted unto death in accordance with what the prophets of old had written. He was Crucified, Died and on the third day Rose Again. Those who trust Him know this to be true and are saved. Those who do not trust Him deny Him and His Salvatory work and either deny or seek another. There is no other. Jesus alone is the Salvation of mankind. Those who place their trust in HIm He shall in now way turn away. Those who deny Him or seek another stand condemned already for they have abandoned the Gift Given to us unto salvation. For it is by Grace (Gift) we are saved through Faith, not of our own lest anyone boast. It is a Gift of God.

We know that the writers of two of the Gospels were disciples of Jesus and the author of several of the Epistles also walked with Jesus as He performed miracles.

Little John hung out with Robin Hood in the forest, Tonto rode with the Lone Ranger, and Watson was pals with Sherlock Holmes. The evidence is in the movies and countless books so it must be true.

@Diotrephes If you think that somehow discredits the Bible you are mistaken. I mentioned the disciples not of proof of the authenticity of the New Testament but to show when it was written. Your bigotry is showing again.
