Your hate for others is an abomination. In 2020, try some love for other people, including immigrants, the LGBTQ community, and those of other faiths, including Muslims.

John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

1 Corinthians 13:13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

@windinhishair
That is appropriate New Tearament scripture. Are you saved?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Pfuzylogic No, but there is that of God in everyone, part of the Inner Light.
Pfuzylogic · M
@windinhishair The Holy Bible does not say that. In John 3:16 It speaks of salvation where God gave his only son so that those that believe will not perish but have everlasting life. In Christianity there is no inner light for everyone. I don’t know one scripture that supports that.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Pfuzylogic It isn't scripture. It is Quaker.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Pfuzylogic You don't know one because there isn't one. The Bible is quite clear that there are those upon whom God will have mercy and those who are chaff to be burned.

@hippyjoe1955
Why are you on this thread. I don’t see anything you said being relevant.
Pfuzylogic · M
@windinhishair
Quaker does innovate on the Bible in a scary way that can be apostate at times.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Pfuzylogic Just to show how illiterate you really are son.
Pfuzylogic · M
@hippyjoe1955 Go away.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Pfuzylogic It isn't scary, and the Bible is used, but as an inspired text along with others. Tolerance, compassion, and service are some of the beliefs.

@windinhishair
In the 2000’s I became familiar with some new Quaker teachings that you are sharing now. You are sourced to a denomination that took something and made it unscriptural. What they teach is not in the Holy Bible. It sounds nice but it is useless since it isn’t sourced from the Bible but recently created from men.

@Pfuzylogic oh, yeah, and God is limited to the bible right?
Pfuzylogic · M
@Penny God authored the Holy Bible.
If we can’t agree with that then we have no common point to deliberate on.
Penny · 46-50, F
@Pfuzylogic God exists outside the bible. You are idolatrating the bible.
Penny · 46-50, F
@Pfuzylogic Do you really think God would stop communicating his ways with us? Like he stopped when they wrote the bible or something? God speaks and we should listen.
God exists outside the bible. You are idolatrating the bible.
Beautiful.
@Penny
@windinhishair I think this is the first time I've heard Quakers called scarey.

Ironic in that it's in a thread defends the position that gay people be put to death.
Penny · 46-50, F
@Pfuzylogic 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. https://biblehub.com/kjv/ephesians/4.htm

@Penny I don’t plan on being ganged up on just because you joined the thread.
This idoltrating word you just made up is your imagination and a taunt to me. I tried to be reasonable. Any God outside of the Bible is purely made up from human imagination.
Penny · 46-50, F
@Pfuzylogic well, you cant say its not said in the bible that we are not all in some way God too. Maybe like a part or something. Like he is in us.
Penny · 46-50, F
@Pfuzylogic also, idolatrating may be a made up word, but you know what I am talking about. Don't let your stubborn blindness close you off to God without the bible. shall I rephrase it? Idolizing a book is in my mind a form of idolatry and that's what you are doing. God has a living word thats what I think. Of course I could be wrong.. We learn from books. The bible is one book out of millions or thousands or whatever. A thousand books all written by those who have God within them. It is up to you decide what is truth and what is not.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Penny The Word was Jesus.
The Old Testament prophecised him and the New Testament was him. Any other God is not known and does not exist.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@CopperCicada People are often afraid of what they don't understand. That's OK. Quakers don't proselytize and don't actively seek out new members. New members come to them, one at a time, guided by the Inner Light, and that's OK too.
