I Believe the Bible Is the Inspired Word of God

"In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God. And the word WAS God" John 1:1

"All things were made by Him! And without Him was nothing made that was made." John 1:3

"And the word became flesh and dwelt among us. In Him was the life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in darkness, but the darkness comprehends it Not!" John 1:4

The Bible is infallible, human interpretations are not. Even though God's Word is perfect (see Psalms 19:7), as long as imperfect human beings exist, there will be misinterpretations of God's Word and false views about his world.

The few menial errors penned by man in translation, and in contrast to the whole Bible, are expected when you have something handed down over thousands of years, because man is fallible, but not the Holy Spirit. However, if naysayers would devote their time to careful bible study, they would see proof of no contradictions at all. The author, the Holy Spirit, is incapable of making errors, so the original manuscript was without flaw, just as God would have it. Regardless of man’s error in transcription through the ages, the main theme of the Word has never changed, and that is the most important thing to know...how to have eternal life.

The Bible cannot err, since it is God's Word, and God cannot err. This does not mean there are no difficulties in the Bible. But the difficulties are not due to God's perfect revelation, but to our imperfect understanding of it. The history of Bible criticism reveals that the Bible has no errors, but the critics do.
