Jesus, Gods Son, died for the world because we are hopelessly lost and sinful. He forgave us for all our sins so we can go to heaven. All is forgiven praise God what a God we have! He is coming again! It is very soon because all the signs are there that God talked about; increase in knowledge, increases travel, gathering of the Israelites, 1945, increased great earthquakes, and flooding, men are lovers of self more than lovers of God, lawlessness is increasing, and men's heart are growing cold. Jesus said that "this generation" would also see His return to judge the living and the dead.

The original I think I would agree but every time it's rewritten it's changed even tho in the Bible not to change anything . I wonder what the Bible would look like if not having anything to go by except a modern one it was translated back. How close to the original?
@Repete I look at it slightly differently... Each time that I read and study a section in the Scriptures, I come away with a deeper and clearer understanding.
@ms20182878 like reading the Bible ( picturing the Bible as a very hilly and mountainous place) the first time you only see the peaks. After you read and let him lead you through the Bible more times you slowly get closer to seeing the whole mountain and the valleys.
A point that sometimes comes up is when people think they are God and think theycan judge other people's ways. We as people find it easy to overlook that plank in ourselves and focus on the splinter in others. We always have planks we don't want to see.
@Repete You're right... We need to walk humbly before the Lord... But at the same time we are commanded to go and make disciples and teach them to obey... 😊

Well thank you sweetie pie!@english But are you aware that magic brings curses to yourself according to Gods word? I wouldn't want that to a nice guy like yourself. I want nothing but blessings for you!
@CoffeeFirst "Men" in the Biblical text often refers to people, humanity. If you look at how Jesus interacted with women, as documented in the Biblical text, He broke most of the social customs of the culture as He reached out and interacted with women as being equal to men. The message of the Gospel... His plan for our salvation... is equally available to all.
