I am starting to see

I am starting to see why so many people believe that God is good, and He "wrote" the bible.
I just find myself continually astounded by the wisdom in it. You will read something and it will mean nothing for years...until one day it's put in to context in your life and you finally see something you couldn't before.
I'm not going to say the bible is entirely wisdom, there's enough mankind in there too.

This is my new favourite quote though:
“If our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart and knows all things.” (1 John 3:20)

And this one actually:
“There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

Yes that is God's nature. He is always good. There is no sin in him and yes he did write the Bible. Scripture says so. I never use a little "g" when I talk about God. The little "g" is only used when we talk about the man-made gods of this world. Idols.

When one accepts Jesus as their personal Savior, only then does the Holy Spirit come to them, dwell in them, teach and guide them, and give them understanding of God's Word. I love what you said about there is no more condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. So true. But I hope people will understand that it is not Christ who condemns anyone, but rather it is sin that condemns us, until Christ forgives us of our sins as we come to him, and redeems/saves us.

It is no ordinary book. It is totally full of wisdom and none of man's flawed wisdom. Scripture tells us it is divinely written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, not entrusted to just any person, but given to holy men of old under the direction of the Holy Spirit.

The scripture that specifically says the Bible was not entrusted to just any person, but written by "holy men of God" as they were "moved by the Holy Spirit" is 2 Peter 1:21.

It emphasizes that scripture is God's word, not just human ideas, and serves as a reliable guide, like a light in darkness, until Christ's return, making it authoritative for faith and life. His Word is a light unto our path and a lamp unto our feet.

2 Peter 1:21 For no such prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
