God does speak to our hearts by the Holy Spirit, very gently leading us to him, not rushing or forcing us. Loving and trusting Jesus involves a full hearted life of commitment. For example, if we truly love a person enough to marry them, we wouldn't give them half our heart. Following Jesus is definitely worth it and I wouldn't want to give him less than my full commitment and love, given all he has done for me on the cross, sacrificing his whole life, to save me. Therefore I cannot give him less, as he gave me His best.

I don't describe him as a higher power. Higher power could mean any entity out there, so that's why I like to be specific when referring to my God. I do believe in God, not some god or just any god. Nice post and very interesting.

I can literally hear Heaven right this moment! I kid you not!! I was just enjoying the Heavenly melodies that I can hear just about every day! Right now it's just a melody, some day's the Angels sing Holy Holy Holy, or Hallelujah, or other words, and I like to join along as the Angels sing praises to the Lord God Almighty! It's more than belief, it's my reality!!! It's nice, it's pleasant, I thank God for seating me in Heavenly places, I am soo grateful!!! When I was in darkness I always wished that I could hear Heavenly Angels instead of demons... But then, GOD, turned my darkness into light, made me face my worlds, and it was Him that my heart desired, and He made my darkness turn to light a reality!!! He promised me Heaven!! But I didn't know that I would know Heaven while I was still alive!!
