Jesus words. "If you want to enter eternal life, keep the commandments"

"Love the Lord with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind," Matthew 22:37

"Love your neighbor as yourself" Matthew 22:39

"Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you." Matthew 5:44

You are supposed to hate your famiy members and yourself. Jesus cursed out people who pissed him off, calling them serpents. One of his commandments was to engage in self-mutilation so that you won't go to hell. How many body parts have you cut off to avoid going to hell?

@Diotrephes He said that you should engage in such self-mutilation if the body part in question was leading you into sin, and only then if you couldn't resist it. Fairness, now.

He also responded to an inquiry about "Who is my neighbor?" with the story of the Good Samaritan (which is a pretty bigoted title in and of itself, but that label came far later), implying that you should love those who take extreme risks and make great sacrifices to save you- which pretty strongly suggests that those two anecdotes were lumped together after the fact, rather than being what Jesus directly said. Logically, we should go directly to the source and read the Gospel of Jesus for clarification.

Oh, wait.
