According to the video, the hospital sent letters to the recipients to see if they would meet with the father of the donor. The young man who got her heart showed up.
So many lives would be saved if we all donated.
But hey, people want to be buried with all their organs because you know, Heaven.

No recognized religion explicitly bans organ donation.
I'm going to used the following passages as basis for my explanation.
Corinthians 6-19. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit... Therefore honor God with your bodies.
John 19:36, referencing Psalm 34:20 / Exodus 12:46..."Not one of his bones will be broken"
This describes Jesus on the cross fulfilling prophecy about the Passover lamb.
Genesis 1:27 . Humans made in the image of God, so the body is sacred
1 Corinthians 15:42-44 - About the resurrection of the body.
The argument comes usually from independent fundamentalist churches, individuals or what I call Folk Theology. Not from any official doctrine.
The idea is that since God gave you this body, you are its keeper not its owner, and you should return it to God as intact as possible for resurrection.
How will God resurrect me if my organs are in someone else?" or "I need to be buried whole to be raised whole."
That opposed anything seen as mutilating the God given body: tattoos, piercings, cremation, autopsy, and by extension, removing organs at death.
I grew up in the Pentecostal church. So I have personal. Knowledge of this. I heard it many times while growing up.

When the Bible says that not one bone will be broken, Some extend it to that even in death, Christ's body was kept whole, so ours should be too.
WHAT GROUPS ACTUALLY USE THIS TRAIN OF THOUGHT.
Some independent Baptist, Church of Christ and Pentecostal Church. Especially those who oppose tattooing, piercings and any other type of body modification.
In the case of Jehova Witnesses, they make it an individual choice, but because of the Blood issue it is an indirect opposition.
Baptist and Pentecostal fundamentalist churches. Not officially banned but many preachers lecture against it based on the Temple and Resurrection argument.
Judaism.
Judaism is actually the most accepting and encouraging in terms of organ donation. With the opposition steming from the cutting of the body and where do we consider the moment of death to be.
In Judaism there's no ban. Actually saving life is one of the highest obligations. But organ donation is where saving a life collides with honor of the dead. Opposition comes thru the mandate of the body needing to be buried the same day and a prohibition on disfiguring or mutilating the dead.
Cutting the body after death is normally forbidden as disgrace to the deceased.
Also such opposition is so marked that US or American Heredi families refuse to accept organ donor cards. This opposition is such that it prompted the creation of Hatzalah / Halachic Organ Donor Society (HODS) which was created by Orthodox rabbis to promote donation, precisely to counter folk refusal.
ISLAM
Officially the same as Judaism. Encouraged and praised. But folk indirect opposition is real and it uses Islamic sources.
Those who oppose it say that we do not own our organs to give away.
They also maintain the concepts of speedy burial and the cutting of the body after death as desecration and disrespect.
In Summary. Not one religion or group is officially against organ donation and some, like Judaism and islam go a step further praising it and arguing that saving a life overrides most arguments.
In reality and in practice many believers will act against it citing their own Holy Scripture to support their opposition.
