@ItsMeMorgue Misery on earth.. Is NOT eternal.... We enter into eternity After this life.... So we experience maybe 50 to 90 years on average of mixed experiences.. Some bad and some good.. For an eternity of pure bliss... Oh yeah God is good, God is awesome.. You think a extremly limited time experiencing a mixture of good and bad and then experiencing eternal bliss is bad???

Our lives in this current state of being ARE AS NOTHING compared to eternity... Nothing..

You should not be so ""this life"" centric.. Take a Eternal POV and this current situation is as nothing..

@Adstar Oh, so because people eventually die, it's okay that they suffer unspeakably before it happens, and that means God is somehow not a sadistic monster.

@ItsMeMorgue Right.. What ever suffering one suffers in this life it is guaranteed to come to an end... Short term pain, eternal gain.. There is just no comparison really.. And yeah God is not a sadistic monster..

@ItsMeMorgue A little bit before that in Deut 22 it also says a man will die if he rapes a woman and that she has done nothing wrong.

@Hireath Oh, my mistake. It's a different penalty based on what they think the woman did in order to get raped. How do they judge that? Is it based on what she was wearing? Where she was standing? Whether she was alone?
