Can you still call yourself a Christian?

If you don't believe the idea that every single human that ever lives and reaches a certain maturity level is such a bad person, that they all (me and you included) deserve to be mercilessly tortured forever and ever.

If you reject that then you reject the idea of a perfect God who cannot tolerate any sin.. Even the most minor of Sin..

@Sweetguy024 If God is real.. And He is real. Then what you laugh at is real and your attempts at mockery will lead you to nowhere good in eternity..

@Adstar God is real and God is good. And that's because he doesn't do bad stuff. But people believe he does do evil things but because he's God they're magically not evil lol. And that's the idea I make fun of

@Sweetguy024 You see if you reject the existence of hell because it personaly offends you then you are placing yourself above God as the judge of God and all things.. If everything in a religion has to conform with your idea of whats good then you have effectivly become the God of your own religion.. Your not following any God with Faith / Trust .. Your just following yourself and you are not a God and never will be a God..

An essential part of following God is to Trust God.. Everyone who follows God MUST trust God because Gods thoughts are not the same as our thinking.. The Bible makes it clear::

(Isaiah 55:8-9) "¶ For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. {9} For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."

And again:

(Proverbs 16:25) "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

Trust in God Sweetguy ... Not in yourself..

@Adstar I trust in God, I know he is always righteous and just and does everything he does for good reason. I just feel that is highly likely that a lot of ideas people have are due to misinterpretations. I believe there is a hell, I'm just not sure of all the conditions.

I believe there is a hell, I'm just not sure of all the conditions.

Do you mean the conditions in hell?

or

Do you mean the conditions one has to adhear to to avoid going to hell?

Or do you mean something else?

@Adstar I mean that I question the idea that we're all people are bad enough to be deserving of eternal non stop no mercy torture. That once you're in hell that's it, there's absolutely no way out. And everyone is all in the same situation, being completely submerged in a lake fire. Hungry, tired and thirsty with no hope of relief from the intense constant pain.
I've heard and do believe that there is a way out, it's more of a purification for the soul. Once we've gone through what we need to and beg God for mercy he'll release us.

@Sweetguy024 So do you also object to people spending eternity in a Paradise? If it is wrong to punish people with an eternal punishment should it not also be wrong to reward people in a paradise for eternity? Since no one can do enough good deeds to warrent such a reward..
