God alone decides which souls are sent to earth and which ones return to heaven. I don’t believe fetuses suffer… they are called back and return when they are ready to be born.

@Pikachu No. I’m also not overly sentimental about fetuses.

Just curious. That notion that there are souls waiting beyond the vail to gain corporeal form is a Mormon thing as well

@Pikachu God decides who is a person. Certainly it is impossible to know when life really begins. I think we have to acknowledge that our body belongs to our mother at least for a time in the very beginning before the time we breath on our own.
@Muthafukajones
So if god is deciding who to send, is he deciding that with the knowledge that a certain number of those souls are going to be aborted before they are born?

@Pikachu I think gods perception of time is different than ours. The past present and future are all known to him. Perception like that changes the understanding of many things. I have read that the concept of god is supralogical. That means beyond the comprehension of humanity.
@Muthafukajones
Well yeah, his ways are higher than our ways is right there in the bible.
But do you think god sends souls to earth with the intention that they will be aborted before birth?
