There's too many people trying to live by what they believe are "the rules", because they believe that by living a "good life" and being "good", they shall be loved and accepted by God. However, God's love is unconditional. That is, he loves us no matter who we are or how many mistakes we have made, and his love and salvation are not dependent upon our performance. The Bible says good works never gets anyone to heaven because it's not works that get us there, but God's grace and forgiveness of our sins. Grace is unearned favor from God. He has made salvation very simple for us although it cost him his life. He said whoever comes to me and wants to be rescued from the condemnation that sin placed on all of us, and wants to have their sins forgiven, all they have to do is ask me and I will forgive them. God knows a repentant heart and those who are just playing games. When we go to God with a repentant heart and are truly sorry for our sins, he knows when we are telling him the truth and he is faithful to forgive us and give us eternal life in heaven. The Bible says not one person can earn their way to Heaven by good works. We do not save ourselves. It is Jesus that saves our soul. If we want to see our Heavenly Father and live with Him in heaven, then we must access Him through His son, Jesus Christ, who forgives our sins, making us ready for heaven. Jesus said there's no other way. Jesus said you can try it another way but it won't work.

Per the biblical rules, Christian women are not allowed to talk in church or supposed to tell men what to do. They are also supposed to cover their heads in church or else the men are supposed to grab them and shave their heads on the spot. Since no one follows those rules there are no Christian people on the planet.
For Christian people, what do you believe about what the narrow road is and what does it mean?

@Diotrephes While 1 Corinthians 14:34 does instruct women should not speak in church, I don't believe women who speak are shaven and rather women who don't cover their heads, as mentioned in an earlier verse of 1 Corinthians. And I don't believe either refer to the narrow path or narrow road.
But I suppose you are saying you can't pick and choose what rules to follow.

Salvation is only obtained by being justly forgiven ones transgressions by Believing Jesus ( His Teachings ) and by Trusting that the Atonement that Jesus secured by His death on the cross paid the death penalty that was upon us because of all our transgressions against Gods will..
There are millions of religious people who do not believe the Above...
Millions cannot accept this gift.. They want to pay for it.. And once they start their efforts at paying for it then are no longer on the marrow path that leads to salvation..

There aren't as many on the narrow road heading to heaven as there are on the wide road heading to hell

It refers to following the Divine Nature implanted in US at the time of our Rebirth. It is not following a bunch of rules nor is it living a life of licentiousness. It is doing the Will of the Father according to the Thought of God as empowered by the Presence of God. It is accepting and living in the Grace (Giftedness) of God.

I would say it’s two things…
One believing Christ Serves Us as a Savior from within through our Faith and Imagination in our Self being The Most High.
Secondly , overcoming Adversity and our Own Shadow no longer being attached to the Material world but Ruling over it as the Over Soul and all our lower natures serving us.

But the answer such as it is can be found in the following verses=
Revelation 20:11-15 (TLB) = "11 And I saw a great white throne and the one who sat upon it, from whose face the earth and sky fled away, but they found no place to hide.[a] 12 I saw the dead, great and small, standing before God; and The Books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to the things written in The Books, each according to the deeds he had done. 13 The oceans surrendered the bodies buried in them; and the earth and the underworld gave up the dead in them. Each was judged according to his deeds. 14 And Death and Hell were thrown into the Lake of Fire. This is the Second Death—the Lake of Fire. 15 And if anyone’s name was not found recorded in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the Lake of Fire."
Revelation 21:22-27 (TLB) = "22 No temple could be seen in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are worshiped in it everywhere.[a] 23 And the city has no need of sun or moon to light it, for the glory of God and of the Lamb illuminate it. 24 Its light will light the nations of the earth, and the rulers of the world will come and bring their glory to it. 25 Its gates never close; they stay open all day long—and there is no night! 26 And the glory and honor of all the nations shall be brought into it. 27 Nothing evil will be permitted in it—no one immoral or dishonest—but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life."
Revelation 22:14-15 (TLB) = "14 Blessed forever are all who are washing their robes, to have the right to enter in through the gates of the city and to eat the fruit from the Tree of Life.
15 “Outside the city are those who have strayed away from God, and the sorcerers and the immoral and murderers and idolaters, and all who love to lie, and do so."
well, how does your name get written in the book of life?
Remember, the Bible is based on an ancient ethnocentric Middle Eastern Jewish religious fairytale so most of the stories don't make any sense. But the answer such as it is can be found in the following verses=

To live the commands of God. We only have 10 of them. well, plus one more, to love one another as christ loves us.
As the text says- there is only one way to heaven- by believing that Christ shed his blood for us on the cross.
Most people do not believe that and believe "tjere are msny ways to heaven" Be a good person" etc.

I am a religious believer. And do realize not all are. While we are taught to minister the word, I am no Pastor. I believe we are taught the narrow road means that only through Jesus will we find salvation in the Kingdom of God.

John 4:16 would easily answer the question.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

former christian here. 'narrow' in the sense that following the teachings of christ require more discipline and sacrifice compared to the 'broad' path that's much easier but creates distance between you and gods salvation. for non-christians, it's similar to "answer hard questions, live easy life. answer easy questions, live hard life' in so far as facing the facts is one step closer to having a happy life.
