Christians believe that God answers prayers and does miraculous healings...but why does he never ever heal an amputee?

I know this feels like a gotcha question and maybe on some level it is but mainly i'm just really curious about what Christians think the answer is.
I watched a video where this question was addressed by a panel of Christians and i was eager to finally hear some theological explanation for this problematic oversight....i was disappointed.
The completely failed to answer the question and pretended the question was more like "why doesn't god heal everyone all the time"

God seems to heal mental illness or diseases like cancer which are known to go into spontaneous remission and help people find their keys or get needed money from unexpected sources...but never grows so much as a finger back.

So, Christians....why has God never healed a single amputee?

P.s In case anyone is interested in hearing the apologist's answers for themselves:

Because they lack faith
@G0ddess

Amputees lack faith?
G0ddess · F
@Pikachu any miracle needs faith
SW-User
@G0ddess Which raises a profound theological point.

As Jesus says in St Mark:-

Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.

So, who has faith/belief enough?

Once again - I labour the point......😀 - we are saved by Grace, not by our own belief/faith, however strong.
SW-User
@SW-User Just to add........some would see Grace as an offer made to us by God, which we accept or reject. As I see it, and know it, it is the Reality in which we "live and move and have our being".
@G0ddess

Sure...but are you saying that no amputee has ever had enough faith and that's why no amputee has ever been healed?
G0ddess · F
@Pikachu yes
@G0ddess

Do you think it requires more faith than other healings?
G0ddess · F
@Pikachu no, it’s the same reason why only some ppl win the lottery, it takes undoubted faith
@G0ddess

lol well sure, but you think that the reason no amputee has ever been healed is because no amputee has ever had the same amount of faith as someone who has claimed to to be healed of any other ailment or injury?
G0ddess · F
@Pikachu yes
@G0ddess

Why do you suppose that all amputees throughout history have not had the same amount of faith as other Christians?
Does that actually seem like a likely explanation to you?
G0ddess · F
@Pikachu faith is binary, you either have it or you don’t so that answers everything
@G0ddess

Ok. Then why do you suppose that all amputees throughout history have not had faith?
Does that actually seem like a likely explanation to you?
G0ddess · F
@Pikachu yes don’t overcomplicate it
@G0ddess

Seems rather unlikely to me and also rather insulting to an awful lot of Christian amputees.
G0ddess · F
@Pikachu c’est la vie
@G0ddess

lol no i don't think it is, actually.
No offense, but i don't think that was a very deeply considered answer on your part.
G0ddess · F
@Pikachu I don’t like overcomplicating things
@G0ddess

You do you, girl

@BritishFailedAesthetic pikachu expects a binary answer
@G0ddess Ok but to clarify it isn't because they lack faith.
Renaci · 36-40
@G0ddess You kept giving a binary answer that basically says all people that have prayed to regrow limbs didn't have faith. Guess they werent true Christians. No true Scotsman fallacy detected.
G0ddess · F
@Renaci I never said they were true Christians though
@G0ddess Who were true Christians?
