A question for Christian parents: If you go to heaven but your children go to hell...will you be happy in heaven? Will it be paradise still?

I find one of the more challenging notions about heaven to be the idea that i could be happy in heaven knowing someone i loved had been sent to hell.

What are your thoughts?

And how bad will it be for parents in hell knowing their kids will be heading there too? Especially the ones who have lied to their kids and told them that God, heaven and hell don't exist. They will be desperately hoping they accept Jesus and go to heaven

@Pikachu I don't know the answer because we don't know enough about heaven! I think you are looking at heaven from an earthly point of view, I totally trust God when He tells us there'll be no more sorrow or crying or pain, We'll just have to wait and see

How could there be no sorrow or pain if you know your baby is in hell?

@Pikachu The whole concept of heaven and hell is human invention. I suspect that the reality is vastly different from that imagined..
