For those of Faith in Jesus, this preceding verse supports your statement well
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us

Preach on brotherman. One must rage, rage against the dying of the light until fully vented, can vent no more, and then...you die...

Yeah, that’s why he created Hell, you always hurt the one you love. For eternity.
@DocSavage God didn't create hell for human beings. He doesn't even send people to hell. He is not willing that any should perish. This eternal fire was“prepared for the devil and his angels”(Matthew 25:41). In other words, hell was created for a specific purpose and for a specific group. The Lord God created hell to quarantine the devil and the angels that sided with him in Rebellion against God and tried to take over his kingdom but were cast out. Hell was never intended for humans.
Jesus didn’t come to condemn the world, but to save the world (John 3:17). And he is coming again to resurrect his people and liberate all creation from its bondage of decay (Romans 8:21). But if a person rejects such good news, God will not force himself on them. If a person continues to harden their heart, God will give them over to what they desire.

Do you realize, that the original tale about Lucifer and his rebellion, was a fable about the planet Venus, which is known as “The Morning Star “ .
It shines early in the sky, but as the sun (god) rises it sinks into the horizon (cast into the pit) another one of those “Myths” that predate the bible. Makes a good story, don’t you think ? Milton did.

Absolutely!
God is conditional love
@Pikachu God's love is exactly the opposite, unconditional! He doesn't Force his love on anyone. That's why he gave us choice. He does not demand that we love him. But mankind has to realize why he needs Jesus. Jesus came and died on the cross to save us from hell, not to put us in it. But sin cannot enter Heaven. It is a holy place and we cannot drag our sins into it. Therefore we must ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins so that we will be fit for heaven. If Heaven had sin in it then it wouldn't be called heaven. Jesus' love is also unconditional because he loves everyone and anyone, regardless of what they have done in their life. He doesn't like what some people do, yet he loves us as a person and he proved that on the cross. If he didn't love us and care he would not have provided heaven for us. He wants no one to perish. If anyone goes to hell it's because they chose not to believe that Jesus could save them and keep them from hell. That was their choice, not God's, and therefore they have to live by that choice. God won't force them to love him. It's not about that. Whatever we choose shall be our destiny and our responsibility.
@LadyGrace
The definition of unconditional love is not "doesn't force you to love them". It's love that has no conditions associated with it.
I don't call it love when someone is willing to let the them suffer and die if they don't love them back.
