No mortal can fathom or see things as someone who is immortal. With that being said we all have free will. Some of us are good some of us are evil. God does punish severely those who do these horrific acts especially if a child is involved. Just because you are ignorant of that conviction does not mean that your interpretation of God is remotely accurate or relevant. 🙂

I mean maybe, maybe not. But the point being that if he does then he waits until after the child has been raped.
Any decent person would stop the rape rather than wait and watch and punish after the child rape has been committed.

A common excuse but a weak one.
After all, god is meant to have given humans their morality and the ability to judge right from wrong.
You and i know that it is wrong to stand by and watch a child be raped if we could prevent it from happening.
If god is meant to be good then surely he should be doing good by the metric that he himself gave us to live by.
I think apologists are on awfully shaky ground there....

@Pikachu A typical response from a typical secularist mind. You are proving your ignorance of the spiritual world as we speak. But anyway everyone has free will. God does not interfere with that free will. We do as we please even though we are born into sin. With sin comes all sorts of immoral acts of man. If you want a world without darkness then take your butt to Disney World.
@Zonuss
lol don't be a butt.
If you think my point is weak then deconstruct it.
Your attempt to vaguely hand-wave away this issue has been noted.
Free will, free will, free will: bleat the sheep.
As if this is in and of itself an answer.
It is not. It is a priority which has little biblical support. It is an excuse.
Answer me this, Zonuss: If you knew you could stop your neighbour's 5 year old daughter from being raped but it required that you violate the free will of the rapist...would you do it? Or would you watch the little girl be raped and sternly wag your finger and promise to punish the person you just stood by and watched rape a child?
Well?

I'm not arguing about what happens to these people after they rape a child.
I'm pointing out that it is immoral by the very standard that god is meant to have set down not to prevent rape of a child if one had the means to do so.
lol oh Zonuss...I thought you were one of the honest ones but here you are totally unwilling to answer a straight question.
Ok, never mind. You do you, bud🙂
You have no idea what happens to people who do things like this.

Raped daughter: Daddy, why did god let that man do that to me? My tummy hurts...
Zonuss: Don't worry, god will handle the situation and deliver you
lol sure bud. Sure.
It's a shame you can only string together a series of buzzwords when what you really need to do is string together a coherent argument.
If you're not capable of making your case then have the humility to admit it and excuse yourself.
What you're doing here is just dogmatic posturing.
I am looking for a debate...and you're not equal to the task 🙂

Oh look: another vague insult in place of rebuttal.
You've disappointed me, Zonuss. I didn't think you were like this.
lol couldn't agree more. We are not on the same level.
You entered this thread with paper-thin apologetics and became personally insulting when you encountered the first sign of opposition.
So no, i'm not on your level 🙂
Until you can do better, you've lost my attention

the ability to judge right from wrong.
Acording to the buy-bull, Satan gave mankind that abillity by telling Eve to eat the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. God wanted to keep man ignorant of that knowledge. I still don't understand how an omniscient god somehow managed to not foresee that would happen. 🤔

@NortiusMaximus By that simple act of benevolence, Satan freed man from God's tyranny.
