Is your God your color?

Is your God your color?

Student Asks Sadhguru What Is God? - YouTube

I am not racist, but if your God is not your color, you are not thinking of God properly.

Gnostic Christians name their God, I am.

Are you that enlightened?

People who even ask about Gods color, or think it is an important issue what color God is, reveal themselves as being shallow, worldly and borderline closet racists..

The question / issue is irrelevant to those who acknowledge God as God..

@Adstar Can't argue for the prick you follow.

Let me know if morals ever enter your homophobic and misogynous thinking.

Gnosticism is the belief that human beings contain a piece of God, the highest good or a divine spark within themselves, which has fallen from the immaterial world into the bodies of humans. All physical matter is subject to decay, rotting, and death.

You keep saying Gnostic Christian. I certainly know of no Gnostic Christian. I am not a gnostic Christian. I don't contain merely a piece of God, but the Holy Spirit of God lives in me, just as the Bible says He will, when we accept Jesus as our Savior. The Holy Spirit does not just happen to fall into the bodies of any humans. There is a standard God set to receive the Holy Spirit and only those who accept Jesus as Savior, God said shall have the indwelling and power of the Holy Spirit.

I don't care what color God is. I just know Him as the love of my life, as my Savior. That's what counts.

@LadyGrace

You are the twisted one.

You see evil in evolving perfection.

Let me try to untwist you about how we see love and see the matter you dislike.

The Gnostic Christian reality.
Gnostic Christian Jesus said, "Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all.
[And after they have reigned they will rest.]"

"If those who attract you say, 'See, the Kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you.

If they say to you, 'It is under the earth,' then the fish of the sea will precede you.

Rather, the Kingdom of God is inside of you, and it is outside of you.

[Those who] become acquainted with [themselves] will find it; [and when you] become acquainted with yourselves, [you will understand that] it is you who are the sons of the living Father.

But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty."

As you can see from that quote, if we see God's kingdom all around us and inside of us, we cannot think that the world is anything but evolving perfection. Most just don't see it and live in poverty. Let me try to make you see the world the way I do.

Here is a mind exercise. Tell me what you see when you look around. The best that can possibly be, given our past history, or an ugly and imperfect world?

Candide.
"It is demonstrable that things cannot be otherwise than as they are; for as all things have been created for some end, they must necessarily be created for the best end.”

That means that we live in the best of all possible worlds, because it is the only possible world, given all the conditions at hand and the history that got us here. That is an irrefutable statement given entropy and the anthropic principle.

@GnosticChristian I have no god. I neither need nore desire one.
GnosticChristian · 70-79, M
@Entwistle You do, but your thinking is likely too shallow.

This guy's poem I like, even though he is an idol worshiper himself.

Try this thinking. I helped my definitions and thinking grow.

Such lies. We are NOT gods. False teachings and twisting of the Word.
[quote]Like all intelligent religions, they put man above God, just as the Jews always did.

They always hated Christians so I like your many Gods. If you care about your moral soul above the belief in fantasy characters, you will reject your evil Yahweh/Jesus combo. If you want to retain your demonstrably evil invisible friend, goodbuy.[/quote]

You are one sick, false teacher.

@GnosticChristian are you not Christian?
GnosticChristian · 70-79, M
@Torsten Yes. Gnostic Christians have retained the Christian part so that we can have people know that Christianity came out of Chrestianity, a better form of Christianity.

It was not based on stupid supernatural notions.

Like all intelligent religions, they put man above God, just as the Jews always did.

I’ve read this a few times. I’ve still got nothing.

@TheLustyLord Just answer the question.

Let's define God as the best rules and laws to follow.

Who is your God if not you?

DL
@GnosticChristian What makes you think a god has a skin pigmentation?

This is like trying to determine the sex of a solar flare or a blizzard.
GnosticChristian · 70-79, M
@TheLustyLord Let me give you a TLDR.

Modern Gnostic Christians name our god "I am", and yes, we do mean ourselves.

You are your controller. I am mine. You represent and present whatever mind picture you have of your God or ideal human, and so do I.

The name "I Am" you might see as meaning something like, --- I think I have grown up thanks to having forced my apotheosis through Gnosis and meditation and “I am”, represents the best rules and laws that we have found to live by.

In Gnostic Christianity, we follow the Christian tradition that Christians have forgotten that they are to do. That is, become brethren to Jesus.

That is why some say that the only good Christian is a Gnostic Christian.

Here is the real way to salvation that Jesus taught.

Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Allan Watts explain those quotes in detail.

Joseph Campbell shows the same esoteric ecumenist idea in this link.

The bible just plainly says to put away the things of children. The supernatural and literal reading of myths.

Gnosis enlightens adults.
