Remember that time when the zombie apocalypse happened and no one noticed except the author of Matthew?

Why didn't any contemporary sources make mention of the zombie apocalypse in Matthew?

At that moment the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth quaked and the rocks were split. The tombs broke open, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised.
After Jesus’ resurrection, when they had come out of the tombs, they entered the holy city and appeared to many people

Many dead saints got up and went into Jerusalem where they were seen by many people...and this didn't get recorded anywhere except the bible?
Where are the extra-biblical records of this amazing event? Heck, even Mark, Luke and John missed that one.

You know how the Bible is totally factual except for those bits that are inconvenient? Well, this is one of those bits.
@Bushranger

Yeah that seems to come up from time to time lol

Maybe because the Bible is a collection of parables and allegories and is meant to be taken as stories to help guide you and not as a historical accounting?
@Zaphod42 It guides people alright. It guides them into buildings to blow up.

@canusernamebemyusername Every group has its extremists 😔
@Zaphod42

I think you're wrong about that and i think there are very few Christians who wouldn't back me up.
If the bible is not meant to be taken as having some historical accuracy then one loses the entire foundation for the Christian religion.
