It will be "As in the Days of Noah" when Jesus comes back.

Genesis 6: The Days of Noah.
[big]The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. 6 The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 7 So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.[/big]

Genesis 6:6 has always puzzled me.

How can God regret anything?

He knew from the foundation of the world how things were going to turn out in Noah's time.
@Baremine I always thought that was a strange rule to include. Why not talk to the spirits of the dead? Are they going to tell me something that contradicts the Bible?
Baremine · 70-79, C
@ShadowfireTheSarcastic no but king Saul contacted the prophet Samuel and got in deep trouble . Talking to the dead gets a response from satanic sources.
fellowchristian · 70-79, M
@Thinkerbell knowing something doesn't mean, it's not happening contrary to the the ultimate plan.

When God expelled Lucifer from Heaven, he sent Him to Earth where he made his Hell. He made all varieties of viscous beasts we know as dinosaurs. Then God stepped up, eradicated the beasts and made man.
So regardless of where we go when we die, we're already in Hell. Which is why God is so insistent on saving us.

Saving us from a Hell He Himself put us in.

Only when we choose to walk away from the Hell and the lure of the Dark Lord does He accept us back, because He knows we're strong enough to overcome the temptations that Lucifer puts in our path.

@REMsleep Then teach me
REMsleep · 41-45, F
@Abstractminded I would love to study or discourse with you. Its not an immediate thing. There is no algorithim that I can explain so that you always know but once you read The Bible in its entirety and understand the complete message its usually clear.
I am also happy to answer any individual questions.

@Abstractminded
When God expelled Lucifer from Heaven, he sent Him to Earth where he made his Hell
I agree with this part 🙏

We don't exactly have peace on earth 😪
"if you will not obey the Lord your God by diligently observing all his commandments and decrees"
"The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies; you shall go out against them one way and flee before them seven ways. You shall become an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth. " Deuteronomy 28, 15. 25

But not all are cursed and those who obey God shall live:
“The one who is righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1, 17
And Our Lord Promissed:
" Remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age" Saint Matthew 28, 20[sep]
"In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!” Saint John 16, 33
When I ask How can I go on?
I remember what Saint Peter said to Our Lord:
"Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life." Saint John 6, 68
All tragedies might let us down, but it's important to realise something:
God is Merciful, everyday we should be thankful because God is showing His Mercy
Our Lady is the Best Mother in the World, Our Lord gave His Mother to us when He said
"“Woman, here is your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his own home." Saint John 19, 26-27
To me this is the greatest act of Charity, Our Lord gave us everything, His Life, His Wisdom, His Example, His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, but also Our Lady, His Mother, whom He loves more than anybody on Earth, He also gave us His Family:
“My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.” Saint Luke 8, 21
, the Saints are His Family and we are members of one family.
“ Now the whole group of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, but everything they owned was held in common.” Acts 4, 32

"When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” Saint Luke 18, 8
I believe so, otherwise why would God return? He would instead destroy all the Earth as Sodom and Gomorrah, if there wasn't even 10 just people on Earth God would've destroyed it:
"Suppose ten are found there.” He answered, “For the sake of ten I will not destroy it.” Genesis 18, 32
He will return to be Glorified by men, and He shall be.

Those who reject God shall say:
" Then they will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us’; and to the hills, ‘Cover us.’ For if they do this when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?” Saint Luke 23, 30-31
That's the attitude of those who are enslaved by evil,
"But we are not among those who shrink back and so are lost, but among those who have faith and so are saved." Hebrews 10, 39
@AveMaria AMEN 🙏
@AveMaria If this was Quora, I'd report you for "doesn't answer the question."
AveMaria · 31-35, M
@LeopoldBloom What was the question?
But noah didnt exist its just a tribal bedtime story
@Carazaa We'll hold our breath.
@Carazaa how many people of any faith or non faith have to live and die before its considered, maybe jesus isnt coming back?
Carazaa · F
@ShadowfireTheSarcastic Yeah hold your breath 😁
TheWildEcho · 56-60, M
Yes, just like these days!!
Carazaa · F
@TheWildEcho Yes absolutely true!!
How did plants and trees survive? Noah didn’t take them onto the ark and the Bible says everything not on the ark died. Did the author just forget to mention them?
Carazaa · F
@ShadowfireTheSarcastic Is God stupid? He created this world, are you?
@Carazaa So, just to be clear, you're not saying God is stupid. Because doing something in the hardest way possible, just to do it, strikes me as pretty stupid.
@Carazaa But that's not in the text, so you're just making an assumption. It's one thing to take the Bible literally; it's another to make stuff up that isn't in the Bible at all and claim that it must have happened.

Reminds me of an old song we used to sing at school when I attended a school ran by a Baptist church called build an arc.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
It is the Days Of Noah.
We are in the age of Aquarius.
Carazaa · F
@Zonuss It is the days of Noah, but I will have nothing to do with astrology, tarot, palm reading or anything like that because I rely on only on the Bible for truth.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Carazaa You misunderstand what I said. Aquarius age is of enlightenment and things coming to light.
Its far deeper than you think it is. It goes beyond astrology.
@Carazaa But you're here on SW. This isn't the Bible.
DestroyerOfIdeologies · 22-25, M
cool, let there be more regrets and destruction
Carazaa · F
@DestroyerOfIdeologies No need to if you follow Jesus!
checkoutanytime · 41-45, M
Take the path less traveled, it will be worth while.
Carazaa · F
@checkoutanytime Absolutely 🙏 Thank you!
REMsleep · 41-45, F
Yes daily we are speeding towards destruction
