@Ceinwyn I guess so. Thing is, that's why courtships used to last so very long. That's the thing I think we need to bring back.

@Carazaa that's an entirely different situation. Most men do not beat their wives, but some do. And you can't compare a cheating wife to one who has suffered physical abuse. The latter is on a short list of things where there should be no second chance. It's just another chance to be hurt again. Leopards don't change their stripes.
