I don't understand Christianity

- The bible is 2000 years old and has been rewritten and re-interpreted multiple times but people still take it so literally
- Jesus was around just over 2000 years ago, so did everyone before then who didn't know about this religion go straight to hell?
- What about people who don't accept jesus into their lives because they havn't heard much about Christianity or grew up in a different religion? Do they deserve an eternity in hell?
- If you are Christian, why? And are you open to other truths? Or do you believe the bible is the only truth?

What's important to know about this, is that Jesus lived! And de died. And Lived Again. 馃槆馃檹馃檹馃挒

Truly dead people don't return to life.

@Diotrephes truly, Jesus Did.

@Montanaman You have zero evidence of that. You want to believe that because you have been brainwashed over the years to believe in it.

Remember what the Paul character said in 1 Corinthians 15:11-19 (ERV) = "11 So then it is not important if I told you God鈥檚 message or if it was the other apostles who told you鈥攚e all tell people the same message, and this is what you believed.

We Will Be Raised From Death
12 We tell everyone that Christ was raised from death. So why do some of you say that people will not be raised from death? 13 If no one will ever be raised from death, then Christ has never been raised. 14 And if Christ has never been raised, then the message we tell is worth nothing. And your faith is worth nothing. 15 And we will also be guilty of lying about God, because we have told people about him, saying that he raised Christ from death. And if no one is raised from death, then God never raised Christ from death. 16 If those who have died are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. 17 And if Christ has not been raised from death, then your faith is for nothing; you are still guilty of your sins. 18 And those in Christ who have already died are lost. 19 If our hope in Christ is only for this life here on earth, then people should feel more sorry for us than for anyone else."

@Diotrephes Zero evidence?, so what. Its called faith. 馃檹

@Montanaman If you can't do the specific things that Jesus said a person with faith can do, then you are suffering from a delusion.

@Diotrephes that is implying that we have the power it is not us that have the power it's God. What I mean is that it has to be God's will also for it to happen.

@RubiesandButterflies That's not what Jesus said.
