Christians who believe the world is about it end: Do you think children should still be going through school?
If the End Times are now and Jesus' return is imminent, do you feel it's a waste of time and money for kids to be going to school and learning math, science, history, sociology etc? It's it a waste of time to teach kids to drive? A waste of time to vote? If you believe most of us will be dead and some of you will be taken up to Heaven within your life, what point is there in learning anything beyond how to be a good Christian? Should you allow your child to read anything but the Bible?

Even if we feel he鈥檚 coming soon, no one knows the day nor the hour. It鈥檚 not the time to retreat into our homes or little groups. Our children still need to be educated even if we think it鈥檚 close to the end simply because we can鈥檛 know. We prepare them to stay or to go. Teach them about God and be prepared either way. . @Carazaa

If you were raising a child, would you homeschool them and never give them another book or source of written information than the bible?
