I think Peter denied Jesus three times because God moved him to do so in order that he might survive to be a powerful church father.

i think jesus knew peter was weak and cowardly by nature, and he knew judas was a shit, so more like instinct then prophesy

@itsoeasy If Judas hadn't turned Jesus in, he wouldn't have been executed and the whole house of cards would have collapsed. Christians should be grateful Judas was an upstanding, law abiding citizen.
