As a guide to how to lead a moral life, it's ok if you leave out all the supernatural nonsense of the magical sky fairy. It's obviously also written by Men who were seeking to control others and keep them in line so a lot of it is pure fiction and fantasy. Tell anyone a story and if we were able to move into the future 500 years it would be comical to see what that story has become being retold time after time...

@spjennifer aah you've fallen for the how good and moral it is, I think anybody who has been shown the selective bits does. But in there in the darker tales are stories of murder, rape, pillage all allowable because god says you can. I mean imagine somebody killing his neighbour and then keeping his family as sex slaves and then bringing out the book on which he swore at the beginning of the trial as his defence! But your honour god delivered them to me, so they are now mine.

@GeniUs No, I haven't "fallen" for anything, as I said, if you are selective in reading it, it does have some good points, not all of it of course and yes, I agree with you, it's not a book to base your life on. Like any other book, you can enjoy some of it and not like some of it...

@spjennifer Yeah you fell for it but you're annoyed that somebody pointed it out.

@GeniUs Whatever... 🥱

@GeniUs Hilarious really, yesterday some godbot on here was accusing me of being an "Atheist" because I don't believe that the Buybull is the absolute word of god, then today you accuse me of being a "Believer" for the exact same reason, you guys really need to make up your minds as I am neither 😄

@spjennifer You need to read what people write more carefully.

@GeniUs 🥱

Yeah that's my impression too. There's some good moral guidance there. Especially in the NT. Just ignore that pretty shitty moral parts and enjoy the supernatural stories.

@Pikachu Fantasy and fiction is always fun to read, specially when there's some sex thrown in with it, lol 😄
