@NativePortlander1970 there was an old TV program on TV called The Millionaire, the p[lot was you had 24 hours to spend a million dollars only to buy things, not invest. The stories were fascinating.

@HumanEarth it was a weekly early in the history of TV in the US. A man would appear at a door and present a check for a million dollars.
