@Punxi mystery, horror, and autobiography

@JackHoff Cool. One day...read The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. About Vlad the Impaler. Historical and quiet horrific.

@Punxi I will see if I can download it.

A small collection of mine and mum's art books. There's another 4 shelves under this, plus a huge stack of them downstairs.

@V00doo Any decent collection always warps the shelves...😆

That's awesome.
@Punxi Haha yes! Im surprised they havent given in. Dad built the shelves years ago. It's floor to ceiling high.

@V00doo This then inadvertently speaks... volumes.... bout' his carpenter skills.

Nice ... mostly non-fiction. I mostly read novels but I'd love to read that Da Vinci book 🤩

@Lilymoon Cool! I like a good story now and then...but yeah...

You should give a look. Fascinating man...blew me away.
Lilymoon · F
@Punxi yeah I'll have to look it up 👍🏻

The biography of DaVinci by Walter Isaacson, at the bottom of the pile, is an amazing book.
Punxi · F
@samueltyler2 I concur. He might be one the most extraordinary human beings ever.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Punxi both Isaacson and DaVinci. DaVinci was an amazing scientist, way ahead of his time. His Vitruvian Man became the model for all figure studies. I tried to make my own, using mirrors, multiple image technology, etc. but could not come close to his perfection. I did measure my own bodily measurements and darn if he, without all that technology was pretty good.
I collect books of poems. Read them over and over
Punxi · F
@Bexsy Awesome! I like poetry too. 🙂
@Punxi I used to have a collection of my own poems on here but I removed it

@Harmonium1923 very special.
Punxi · F

Not a Mulligan but I am toying with Murphy's Law.
