Who knows about Andrew Tate?

He's a deliberately controversial figure who successfully gamed Tiktok's algorithms to get a load of gullible troubled young men to pay $50 a month to his 'Hustler's University."

A lot of his content is rightwing culture-war stuff and particularly anti-feminist. The most extreme clip shows him saying he will beat a woman with a machete. Usually, it's stuff like bragging about how alpha he is, how much money he has and how many 'hoes' he's 'banged'.

This is all part of the game to stir up controversy and get people to sign up to his dubious wealth creation tutorial website. Unfortunately, it worked and 100,000+ did just that. He plays a crude version of the male power fantasy and a section of young men who have no power give him money hoping that they can one day be like him. It's tragic on multiple levels.

Irregardless of peoples opinions of this chap, i dont think we should be supporting censorship. It has been rife, especially during the covid bs. Its only going to get worse unless we start calling it out, even if we disagree

Dude has human trafficking charges on him. I read US embassy alerted Romania about him abducting women. Romanian govt officials raided his house and found two women. That's a creepy ass dude.
