so many it’s hard to list them all. Tom Hanks right up there on top. Some of the seemingly kind and friendly ones have been doing dark 💩 including to children.

@rinkydinkydoink Yes, with exactly what that meant. He and Henry Fonda, who was progressive, were longtime friends but were said to have almost gotten into a fist fight because of something Stewart had said involving the blacklist. The only way they maintained their friendship was by agreeing to not discuss anything political.

My favorite performance of his was opposite Stanwyck in Preston Sturges' The Lady Eve.
