@Julien To a degree but drones are changing things. Traditional camo nets which have been used for 100 years almost to protect against aircraft are useless because they are designed largely to hide objects and people from aircraft over 1000 feet in the air. Drones can fly inches above equipment. Ukraine is also where armed and kamakaze drones really became a thing. Before that they were largely reconnaissance and armed with Hellfire missiles in some cases.

They are also parking drones on roadways that just sit on the ground lying in ambush like flying IEDs.

Tactics from even 20 years ago are worthless.

@Julien Ukraine is also an artillery and trench warfare kind of war again something the US and NATO has not bothered even preparing for since Korea. It is also the kind of fight NATO can't win. So yeah alot of going back to the drawing board should be happening. Whether it does or not is another matter.

@Julien True but the Ukrainian army started putting bombs on DJI drones in 2014 during the civil war.


This war was starting by the US and NATO but Russia will finish it. And there is no changing that. Even the Pentagon has openly said this.

Hell even Biden staffer Eric Green said it was never about Ukraine winning but about fighting a proxy war with Russia to the last Ukrainian.

Ukrainians are dying for American interests and nothing else.

People of Abkhazia and South Ossetia never asked for this .

They never asked for it but the former Georgian president did. And he has even said he was lead to believe George Bush would start a war with Russia to back him up if he fired the first shots. The Americans made him Governor of Odessa as a thank you for selling out his country too btw. Fun fact. Mikhail Sachashvilli is also a wanted war criminal in Georgia for starting that war. The Americans have been harbouring him ever since.

And as for Abkhazia and South Ossetia both territories decided 30 years ago they had no interest in being part of Georgia.
