This probably isn’t going to be well received by many but oh well. The biggest issue USSS has right now is its DEI hiring priorities. The former head who resigned in shame had a stated goal of doubling the number of female agents by next year. In a job that is that vital, the protection of a President and former Presidents, it is irresponsible to think that way. You hire the best of the best. You don’t lower standards as they have done to hire more women for the sake of hiring women. You set a standard for all applicants and training and qualifications after hire. If a woman meets those hire her. If not she can apply somewhere else.
