The roofers have been hammering on the roof since 6 a.m. Slowly. VERY slowly.

@WillaKissing For a while, it sounded like the neighbor directly above me was hammering very, very slowly...hard to tell where the noise was coming from!

@4meAndyou That makes sense and would worry me too. Being I am alone on my farm I forget about apartment living my bad.

@WillaKissing You are lucky. Sometimes if my upstairs neighbor walks near the bathroom while she is talking, I can hear every word she says!

Not much sound insulation in this building.

This is why I love my farm, unless I run out into the state route when a car passes by no one knows it ever happened or was said here. I always tell the telemarketers or very rarely a door to door anything type(s) person(s) that no one ever will hear them screaming in my barn as I will keep them as leg shackled sex slaves. I have no idea why they looked so shocked or why they hang up so fast on me, heck it makes it hard to explain I will feed and water them like the livestock.

Ah the perils of rural country living, LOL.
