Is job hunting difficult these days?

The job hunt itself is pretty easy and somewhat fun, but the interview process is fairly difficult, nerve-wracking, and biased in favour of people who can easily chat it up. That being said, it's not impossible to succeed with it. Like most things, it just takes self-discipline, persistence, and being able to give the interviewers what they want to see and hear. Having a solid uni transcript and premeditated questions and answers also helps.
