About commuting

I will never accept a job that is more than 20 mins away from where I live. I mean why would you want to waste so much time in a car or on a bus or train or whatever?? That's taking sooo much of your time and you're not getting paid for it. 😒

I know a guy, now retired, whose commute was 4 hours one-way. It was an hour and a half in his car then two and a half hours by train to work. He was able to work from home twice a week - this was before COVID - so I suppose that helped.

I agree that 20 minutes is a good maximum. I'm at about 25 now since our office moved earlier this year.
