The sad thing about job hunting is that no matter how much you do it, you've never actually made any more progress.

I'm exactly where I was two months ago. Nothing's working. All I want is to be an adult, just give me a wage slave job please I swear to god I'll do anything no matter how degrading it is. I can't take it anymore. I take all the energy I have to compose myself and go into every opportunity with confidence and enthusiasm and at this point getting rejected again barely even hurts. Just throw me a bone somewhere, I don't even care

If youre fresh out of college, thats to be expected unless you have something like an engineering or even nursing degree. On average it takes someone 5-6 months to find a job. Not every application will lead to a phone screen, not every phone screen will lead to an interview, and not each interview will lead to a job offer. Ive been there, and who knows might be there again. But like someone else mentioned - you are young

Job hunting is useless if you're not networking within your field. Companies have hundreds of applications on file. You have to "know a guy"...

tbh ur still young so this will be just a memory one day btw from what i heard from others you'll have better luck finding a remote role

@SW-User i really don't think i'm gonna make it

Did you lie on your CV?
Please add fake references, and colleges degrees. No one gives af about stuff like that.

Go to indeed.com. follow the steps and take their suggestions. The more jobs you apply for the better your chances of getting hired.
I wouldn’t say you haven’t made any progress. I know it feels that way now because of the constant rejection and how you feel in the moment, but even through all those interviews I’m sure you’ve improved more than you realize. I know it’s super defeating constantly being rejected and discouraging, but you’re doing wonderful even if you feel like you’re not. 🤗 I’m proud of you for your strength to keep going even when you don’t feel as if it’s worth it.
@BlueVeins argue with me 😡 I’m sad so do it

@Stark the likelihood of me progressing past this point only gets lower over time. the gap between now and college where i've been doing nothing doesn't look good and it's only gonna get worse. i'm gonna end up having to get a job in this backwater town and live at my parents house forever with student debt
@BlueVeins you may have to for a bit while continuing to look for a job in what you really want, but I don’t think it’s the end route for you. It’s sadly something most people end up doing but it’s definitely not a final designation

Do you live anywhere near Scottsdale AZ?
BlueVeins · 22-25
@DearAmbellina2113 No but I'll move there I don't give a fuck
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@BlueVeins It's super expensive to live in Scottsdale but I live in North Phoenix and work in Scottsdale. 😔 Rent out here is astronomical though.
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
What is your specialty? Where do you live?
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
@BlueVeins Maybe a lower level position in insurance?
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Fukfacewillie like what, janitor?
Carla · 61-69, F
@BlueVeins yes. Like janitor.
I have to tell you that is so much easier to get a job, if you have a job.
Any job.
