Risking it all on a card game?

Can’t say no to classic poker, my friends been holding a poker night for months. Sometimes you win big or lose it all and go home in nothing but skin. But where’s the fun in not taking a risk?

What’s your biggest loss?
Most memorable win?

I used to play with a group of guys but we kept it sensible with a buy-in of $30 and limits on bumps... basically it was nickle, dime, quarter poker and the worst you could lose was your buy-in.

I often took home more than my buy-in with a few wins at around $100 and of course there were those nights when I lost everything.

@Ontheroad that's how fun is supposed to be. Nobody gets hurt

I’ve never lost big. I had a friend that lost big and had to walk home in nothing. We have back her clothes the next day but she was made to walk home naked.

@Ashleighrox she had to strip for everyone there and then stay naked. They could touch her if they wanted.

I played strip poker once with a couple of girls I met and when I lost everything and was stark naked, in their apartment kitchen, they seemed shocked and went to bed

I lost 1100 two weeks ago on the machines and 300 yesterday. Last summer I walked away with a 2000 win but have given at least twice that back since. I'm addicted to it all. It's a lousy way to get excited

@atlantic59 lol gambling is an addiction
atlantic59 · 61-69, M
@Ashleighrox I add it to my other addictions but it is my worst, I think

Biggest win was about 10000 playing blackjack.
Biggest loss is probably 1000 but have done that many times. That’s my loss limit.

I love poker and card games, but I don't play for money. Not because of religious reasons or anything, I just don't see the point in gambling. Especially if it's high stakes.
