Well That Boy Did It Again. Went To The Casino & Only Used His Free Play This Time And Ended Up Winning $220 With 3 Slot Machines….

He’ll put most of it in his drawer along with the $300 he won the past couple of months. He knows when to stop. He is treating his friend, who lost the $40 his parents gave him, to dinner at the little Pub-restaurant. He told me he was getting me some celery coleslaw that I was craving and his grandpa wants a burger-mashed potato-gravy stack. I don’t know what he is saving his money for but glad he is. He has mentioned buying some kind of power bank to charge up his electronics and the price he mentioned was not much. He is a nerd that way (majoring in engineering).

@Gibbon He bought dinner for himself and 2 friends at the casino buffet, Cost about $100 total and one friend said the next dinner was on him. And brought us home some food from the pub, so he brought about $100 home to add to the $300 that he has won in the past few weeks. I think his self-control after winning pretty good is the secret. And he treats people with respect when he goes to order food, some places they give him extra and he never asks. it’s happened quite a bit.

The Waldorf salad was supposed to have been invented at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in NYC, but I never saw one until I went to Boston, where they were plentiful. 🤭

My husband met his boss at the windstsr casino in Thackerville, OK. And in 30 mins goofing on the 3 dollar slots, came home with $15000 in $100s . After tax . I couldn’t win a one man sack race … and he wins 23,000 from the slots

@cherokeepatti By law, those casinos have to maintain a determined loss rate each month. They like to spread those around mostly during off peak hours to that the interest is there 24/7 Week day nights or during lunch hour they loosen up the machines. He just happened to go during one of those.

Thackderville is 45 miles from my house...Lots of good concerts there too

Some suggest that the slot machines that are at the end of the rows pay off the best. As do the 5 cent ones if there are any more around. This was advice from my dad when he would only go to casinos because they needed enough people from his senior center to qualify for the free bus pickup that the nearby casino would send to get them :)

@Heartlander I look at the last payouts on a row of slot machines and try to play at the ones with the higher payouts for the last users. They usually pay better if you start playing lower amounts. If I get some winnings accumulated I’ll slowly start going up in bets and sometimes hit a couple of larger bets. Sometimes they pay off good.

@Musicman I think he was born with it in his heart to help people whenever he can. He has a very high empathy level for others. But he has his breaking point like with his sister. He totally alienated from her now due to how she has treated his grandfather. Won’t answer her texts. And I’m not going to tell him to do anything different. He says it stresses him when she texts or tries to contact him through others, like his uncle who asked him to do a “family chat” online.
