Hypothetical question

If you were to allow your child or another child in the family to put a £ 1.00 bet on.
Would you let the keep the all the winnings depending on how much their won.

Not that i condone getting children into the world of gambling
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
Yes. The £1 is my gift to the child. Thereafter, my only role is to facilitate this slightly dubious transaction 🙂
Gangstress · 41-45, F
My dad let me put a pound bet on the horses when i was about 14 onwards. I did not turn into a gambler. He also let me keep the money. Wss only once a year lol
Adamski24 · 41-45, M
@Gangstress that isn't to bad then

Lottery tickets are available through vending machines
If a child puts $1 in a machine and gets a winning lotto ticket that kid will have the biggest trust fund of all time
Adamski24 · 41-45, M
@TAReturns that isn't a thing in the uk.
TAReturns · M
@Adamski24 they are in the states
Adamski24 · 41-45, M

Depends how much they won. If it’s a fiver it’s theirs, if it’s 5 million it’s mine
Adamski24 · 41-45, M
@GLITTER you could at least give them the pound back 😂😂😂
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
If my hypothetical kid is allowed to place a bet, my hypothetical kid keeps the money.
