Why do staff leave their jobs? I swear people don’t last.

One of the ladies that worked in our classroom quit. The teacher told us that she left after yesterday. And one of the van drivers, she flat out quit. We don’t know what happened.

There's lots of possible reasons. Low pay, low motivation, bad management, stressful conditions, bad fits, harassment, social rejection, long commutes, better opportunities, etc.

Most people want to be treated like people, not like a cog in the machine. A lot of jobs invalidate our human worth in order to make us into worker drones.

@chrisCA I've had enough jobs to know it's better to just keep to yourself. Loyalty is dead. Don't waste your energy caring about those who won't ever care about you.
