I don't know much about it but i do know it is almost a 2 trillion dollar industry -on the down side slow job growth in last few years It is a descretionary market, which in a tough economy makes it one of the quicker things to be removed from a budget .
generically speaking "fashion business" is a wide range idea ranging from brand managers to merchandising manager to an account executive (sales) ---it kinda depends on what you see your place is in that industry
some of it may depend on supply chain and trade relations Canada has with the world at large. I don't know squat about Candian supply chains / fashion exports but know it would be imortant to move between manufacturers and buyers
i wonder when the economy of the fashion industry is articulated (and i dont know the answer) how much is allocated to retail workers, and warehouse workers which are lower paying jobs but feel like an overal part of that economy.

It has provided me with an excellent income and international travel since I was 14 and would happily work in it if I had my time all over again🙂

What aspect of it? Modeling? Design? Investment? Retail? Nothing good is ever easy.. it takes style and a good eye and also connections for advertising or a good product to bring in costumers.. i like good classy practical fashion.. a lot of high fashion stuff is tacky and ridiculous tho imo

If you're a woman or gay man, you'll do just fine in the fashion industry
