I don't know much about it but i do know it is almost a 2 trillion dollar industry -on the down side slow job growth in last few years It is a descretionary market, which in a tough economy makes it one of the quicker things to be removed from a budget .
generically speaking "fashion business" is a wide range idea ranging from brand managers to merchandising manager to an account executive (sales) ---it kinda depends on what you see your place is in that industry
some of it may depend on supply chain and trade relations Canada has with the world at large. I don't know squat about Candian supply chains / fashion exports but know it would be imortant to move between manufacturers and buyers
i wonder when the economy of the fashion industry is articulated (and i dont know the answer) how much is allocated to retail workers, and warehouse workers which are lower paying jobs but feel like an overal part of that economy.
