Why is wikipedia always begging for money?

You ever try to run a single server like on this site with just over 7,000 users?

Now multiply that by a site whose traffic justifies more than just ten servers.

And without advertising!

I once had my own server and website BTW. Expensive! Had to drop it. Eventually even dropped the domain name.

BTW this site OWNS at least three domain names. And pays yearly for two that do nothing now.

Wikipedia owns more domains than just that.

I use that site to gain knowledge, not to fork over a chunk of my hard-earned.

i tried a little Pan Handling on youtube days ago , still nothing yet , lol
