Don’t know perhaps a windfall tax, but i do know its going to get worse when most peoples money is being spent on keeping warm and not spread round rest of the economy .

@Barny52 heard the windfall tax idea but thats skimming around the issue imo. If government can impose a tax then they can implement laws/policy saying energy companies cannot overcharge as we need energy to survive.
Im not for government intervention but when the energy market is so controlled what other option is there. Eg of controlled market, in the uk its very difficult to change company, comparison sites have removed all energy companies and many energy companies are not accepting new customers. Something very dodgy is going on
