I was on the elliptical machine in our gym and spotted what I thought might be a bird on a tree. It was sitting on a branch absolutely still, so I questioned myself it was a bird or not. I decided I couldn't miss the opportunity and so stopped my exercise and ran, literally ran, for my camera. Luckily, it was till there, and was a bird. I had my camera set to shot a blast of images, so when it decided to fly off, i caught that.
I like the second one showing both the detail of the tree and the bird flying away near the center of the action. Couldn't be a yellow bellied sapsucker or robin, taking a guess - a gold bellied chat?
