@Classified Yeah seagulls are wild

PerfectionOfTheHeart · 46-50, F
Apologies for the snarky answer but the first that came to mind was… 🖕🏻

Second was more appropriate. The not to be messed with Harpy Eagle.

European Robins. There's a belief here that they represent loved ones who are no longer with us.

"Robins appear, when loved ones are near."
Straylight · 31-35, F
@WelshLovely That’s a lovely thought.
WelshLovely · 46-50, F
@Straylight They used to make me smile anyway, but even more since my Dad died.

The Golden Crowned Kinglet... not kidding, it's a thing! had a special relationship with one once and she's stayed in my heart ever since.
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@Straylight

They are flitty little things, almost hard to see clearly they usually move so quickly. I found one beside a building in a woozy state. I have a picture of her in my hand before she warmed up and recovered and went on her way.

Straylight · 31-35, F
@GerOttman I can see where they get the name!
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@Straylight there's usually a bunch of them together and they flit constantly deep inside bushes. they are easier to hear then see.
Straylight · 31-35, F

Pied Butcher Bird (Cracticus nigrogularis). In my opinion, the best song of any bird in the world.
okaybut · 56-60, M
Hmm....hard to say. I adore Hummingbirds....and Owls are amazing. But for the common garden bird I would say BlueJays.
