I visited a friend, his wife and their newly born baby in Tasmania in 1992 (on holiday from Western Australia) on a farm outside of the town, Geeveston in about 1992.
My first night there I was awoken by the baby crying. After 15 minutes, with the baby still crying I went into its room and the baby was sound asleep.
Puzzled I went back to bed. Almost immediately the baby crying noise occurred again. Once again I went into the room and the baby was still sleeping soundly.
This time, the mother came into the room and asked me what I was doing to which I replied, "I heard the baby crying and came to check on him"
"Well he is not crying so you can go back to bed"
It was obvious she was very wary of my presence, standing over the baby at 12.30 am.
Upon returning to bed, once again there was the very distinct sound of a baby crying. This time I stayed in bed and encountered an incredible, I do not even know how to put this into words.
I had this vision, experience, of a well dressed lady in very fine period clothes. She started talking to me, in my head, saying that she had lost her baby and could I help her find him.
What does one say to that? I had a conversation with her for about 20 minutes until she just "Went away".
All very weird but all true. This went on for another two nights, same events, though I never went to check on the baby because I knew he was asleep.
The fourth night nothing, and the experience never happened again. I never related this to the parents because I am sure the mother would have asked me to leave.
This was a true experience, there is no need for me to make stuff up.
One unexplained event of several I have experienced over my life time.

There are 2 times I couldnt explain away. Once, in this house 24 years ago when I just moved in, in the early morning, I heard digging right outside the window where I was laying. It went on til I finally got up quickly ran outside to look, and there was nothing. But I know what I heard. Other sounds were going on too in this old shack. The house was empty 2 or 3 years before I moved in. Maybe me moving in rattled the ghost or ghosts, til they gave up and left. Another time living in a YMCA for a short time in 99 on the 7th floor, I felt a presence in the small bed next to me, pleasuring himself. It was just me, awake, quiet, sitting up and reading, so wasn't sleeping, and it went on and on for a couple minutes. I know what I felt. Am not gay btw

I have not, but I talked to a totally reliable person who did. She awoke suddenly to find her husband standing by her bed. He was sleeping in another room because he was unable to walk and needed special equipment. Her husband spoke to her and told her to fetch some important papers that he had stashed in a hiding place. Then he vanished. She went into his room, and he was dead. She found the papers, just like he told her.

@exexec Physical evidence is far better than say-so. Can you clearly define what a ghost is? Their attributes and how this is known?

this really made me believe....second christmas after my dad died and my mom started seeing another man. we got my mother lagostina pots and pans with the tempered glass lids. the day after christmas they were sitting on the dining room table all spread out. my dads urn was 3 feet away. i was watching tv and i heard a slow shattering sound..i was like wtf? one of the lids shattered. there was nothing that could have made that happen. i figured my dad was ticked off about my mom seeing someone (who ended up being an ass) and he wanted to send a message

Yes. I live in a very old house. Often around 3am, i can hear someone walking up the stairs. The neighbours have both seen a woman in a long brown dress and a face at the window.

I have a few times at the same place. A friends 125 year old house. Things moved, flames started on a candle that was out

@BlueSkyKing a religion or lack thereof is not a substitution for a personality.
Religion or lack thereof is like a pen1s.
It's perfectly fine to have, but don't wave it in my face or force it down my throat.
